The Brief: Is being ‘psychotic’ a distinct state? How thin and porous are the boundaries with ‘normal’ reality?
The aim of the project was explore how to portray online the experience of being ‘psychotic’, or in ‘non consensual reality’.
After two years of collaboration and experimentation the site is born. Interacting with a Flash environment the user can journey around London on the tube, mixing and triggering sounds as she/ he goes. The more you interact with nutter.tv the greater your anxiety and the intensity of the experience become. Sights of interest along the way include Vauxhall Bridge (home of MI5), Clapham Junction station and an air-conditioning duct near Centrepoint?!
